Why a label review matters

Cosmetic labelling in the EU is tightly prescribed by Article 19 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, and marketing claims must satisfy the common criteria of Regulation (EU) No 655/2013. A non-compliant label can block market entry, trigger recalls and lead to enforcement — usually discovered only after print runs are paid for.

What we check (Article 19)

The Responsible Person’s name and address; nominal content; date of minimum durability or the period-after-opening (PAO) symbol; precautions for use; batch code; product function; and the full ingredient list in INCI nomenclature in descending order, with allergens correctly declared.

Basic vs Comprehensive

Basic verifies the mandatory label elements are present and correctly formatted. Comprehensive adds a full marketing-claims assessment against Regulation (EU) No 655/2013 — checking that every on-pack and advertising claim is legal, truthful, evidenced and fair.

Basic confirms the mandatory Article 19 label elements are present and correct. Comprehensive adds a full marketing-claims review against Regulation (EU) No 655/2013. Choose the level above and the price updates.
Yes. We verify the ingredients are listed in correct INCI nomenclature in descending order of weight, with allergens declared as required.
Yes — in the Comprehensive review we assess such claims against the six common criteria of Regulation (EU) No 655/2013 (legal compliance, truthfulness, evidential support, honesty, fairness and informed decision-making).
Your current label artwork or text, the INCI list, and any marketing claims. We return a clear report of what is compliant and what to change.
