What a PCN is — and why it is mandatory

Every hazardous mixture placed on the EU market must have a Poison Centre Notification (PCN) under CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, Annex VIII. The PCN gives poison centres immediate access to accurate product information in cases of accidental exposure, ingestion or other emergencies.
